Cannon, 42, whose sizable brood is with multiple women, previously welcomed a son with Scott, 29, in June 2021. Their baby, Zen, died in December from a brain tumor caused by hydrocephalus, an abnormal increase in fluid in the brain.

Scott confirmed in early November that she and Cannon would be expecting the arrival of their second child together in December. She also has a four-year-old daughter called Zeela from a previous relationship.

Despite previously stating that she would next post on Instagram once her baby had arrived, Scott returned to the social media platform on Thursday to share photos of herself and her daughter celebrating the festive season together.

In the elegant images, the mother and daughter donned red dresses as they posed together before a decorated Christmas tree.

Captioning one of the trio of posts from the same shoot shared on her Instagram grid, Scott wrote that Christmas is her “favorite time of year.”

She also shared a selection of photos on her Instagram Story, including one that featured a solo of a smiling Zeela. Captioning the photo of her daughter, Scott wrote: “I am one proud mama.”

In November, Scott shared a series of intimate maternity photos that showed the two posing naked in a bathtub. Comedian Cannon was seen cradling and kissing Scott’s baby bump in images that she captioned “a MIRACLE & a BLESSING.”

Later that month, Scott posted photos that featured her and Cannon in black formal ensembles as they hugged and posed together under a tree.

“Thank you to everyone who is following along with love and compassion for my journey,” she wrote. “[I’m] a private person on a very public platform. I know with time I will be ready to let the people who truly care into my world a little more than I have.”

Once Cannon’s baby with Scott arrives, he will have had five children in five months with five women. On November 11, Cannon became a father for the 11th time, as he and radio personality Abby De La Rosa welcomed a daughter called Beautiful Zeppelin.

The bundle of joy is the third child for comedian Cannon and broadcaster De La Rosa, 31, as they welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir in June 2021.

Cannon announced via Instagram on September 14 that he and former The Price Is Right model Lanisha Cole, 40, had welcomed a girl named Onyx Ice Cole.

Nine days later, on September 23, Wild ’n Out host Cannon had son Rise Messiah Cannon with former Miss Universe contestant Brittany Bell, 34, the pair’s third child together and the TV personality’s 10th overall.

Amid his busy year, Cannon had son Legendary Love in July with model Bre Tiesi, 31.

Cannon is also the father of 11-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. He shares son Golden Sagon, five, and daughter Powerful Queen, who turns two in December with Bell.

When announcing the birth of his daughter Onyx in September, Cannon addressed those tempted to criticize his family, writing on Instagram: “I’ve given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society but instead I’m doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite Being God ordained me to be.”

“Hopefully I can teach Onyx the same, to not let others shame or ridicule her with their outside opinions, because when they do they are only projecting their own harsh experiences, pain and social programming onto her unblemished beauty,” he added.

Cannon urged his detractors to direct their comments at him, rather than Cole and the other women with whom he has had—and is having—children.

“As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength,” Cannon wrote.

“So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children.”

He added that “if you are truly concerned during this time of Spiritual Warfare, my inner struggles with self, mental wellness and physical health concerns… Just continue to pray for me and my entire family that God will grant us Peace that surpasses all Understanding.”
